Aimed at the children’s audience, the documentary series MALA E CUIA accompanies children in a playful immersion for their origins in the homeland of their migrant grandparents. In thirteen 13-minute episodes, the series documents the exchange of experiences between grandchildren born in large urban centers and grandmothers who migrated from small towns in search of a better life. From the point of view of the child, who now does the opposite way to that of his grandparents, the narrative explores the discovery and appreciation of the roots of the family. Our little characters are packed with stories of grandparents who remember their childish times, savor the typical tastes of each region, learn the games that were successful in the past and still make great laughs between grandparents and grandchildren.
